Sorry, it's been so long. Life has been busy. Of course most of you know that Jason, Jr. Justin and his finance' Toni Greenley and their 20 month old son are living with us, as well as baby girl Katherine. Katherine is doing great in her senior year at Polytech High School, can't believe in 7 months see will be graduated from High School.

Justin, Toni and Jarrett are leaving on the 9th of November to visit Toni's family in Texas.

Jarrett second Halloween is approaching fast, he is going to be Nemo.. Toni's mom got the custom from the disney store and he looks so cute in it.

Jay and I were in Salem, Ma from October 9-12th, we had a great time. Of course we rode the motorcycle. It was cold coming home and we hit a small patch of rain on our way up. Other wise the weather was good, alittle cool and windy but sunny..

It's hard to believe the holiday season is right around the corner. Jay and I are having Thanksgiving for his side of the family and of course my parents and sister and nephews. It should be alot fun. Our families get along so well. I'm going to send and invite to the daughter's who dont speak to us and hopefully they will find it in their hearts to be thankful they have a father and step mother who want them to be apart of our lives.

Hopefully the next posting wouldnt be so long. Hope everyone is doing good.

It's going to be a great day... We had a great time at Donna and Dom Gonzon's house. WE had some awesome italian food. We spent time relaxing around their pool and enjoy great conversation. This morning I've attempted to add pictures to our Facebook, and it keeps logging me out, so I decided to come here and post our blog.

The kids are still in bed sleeping, as well as the dogs. So it's pretty quite around here so far this morning.

I have to work this evening. Jay is going to Walt's to work on the Cross's for Church.

Hope everyone has a Great Day!!!!

Jay and Sherry's First Blog .. A little about us

Hello, Everyone

Today, is our First Blog. We are so excited to be blogging. (Ok, I'm excite to be blogging)
Thanks Gail, for showing me your blog, http://www.weldon31709@blogspot.com/. Gail is one of my best friends, I've known Gail for 10 (+) years, we worked together at MBNA and than Bank of America.Gail allowed Katherine and I to live with her and her cats in her one bedroom apartment for 4 or 5 months. YUP, we had some issues, but we worked past them and now we are friends again. Thanks Gail and Nate for sharing you blog with me this morning. If I hadn't seen your blog, I wouldn't be writing a blog for Jay and me.

Sherry & Gail

Jay and I have been together, since April 2007, I picked him up from Myspace. Our first date was at TGIF in Dover, Delaware, we sat talking for hours, and we both knew right away it was meant to be. We've been together since that lunch on that cold April afternoon. We've had some really fun and good times, and we've had some not so good times.
We starting living together in my rented townhouse in October 2007, and the third night of us living together, we were waken by the Smyrna Police Department, I opened the door to a gun in my face and my town house surrounded. Long story ... But all worked out and we moved on in our life as a couple.

We bought our first home and moved in on February 26, 2008, we live in Clayton, Delaware.

Our grandson, Jarrett X. Waltz was born on February 29, 2008, @ 6:31 am.

We became engaged on May 23, 2009, at our Favorite place to eat, "The Yacht Club" in Chesapeak City, Maryland. Here I thought we were going to dinner to celebrate Jay's oldest daughter coming to live with us, the day before, (May 22, 2009) and all us becoming a family.

Instead the joke was on me.

I lost my job with Bank of American in August 2008, so I spent 10 months planning our wedding.

Gail, who I told you about earlier in this blog, took our engagement pictures. She did a wonderful job, she doesn't give herself enough credit. Her work is wonderful Job..

Finally, The BIG DAY ARRIVED, Sunday, June 7, 2009. It was a Beautiful Day, we couldn't have asked for a more Perfect Day.

We enjoyed our reception with our family and Friends.

Then off we went on our Alaskan Cruise.

Will update all on that on another another blog.

Today, just staying around the house, we've been invited to Donna and Dom Gonzon home for dinner and a swim, tonight. Plan on stopping by my sister house and saying hello to my Nephew's, Jack and Trevor/
